ACAC Family Activities and Groups
ACAC Family’s Activities and Groups are designed to promote socialisation while offering a mix of worker-facilitated and self-directed capacity-building programs. Participants are free to engage in activities independently, join facilitated workshops, or combine both approaches. Every activity is participant-driven and guided by individual interests—limited only by your imagination.
Program Activities Include:
- Life Skills Development – such as grocery shopping, cooking, personal care, gardening, and household tasks
- Health & Wellbeing – including awareness programs, group fitness, swimming, yoga, and nature walks
- Literacy and Numeracy –tailored learning programs covering budgeting, money handling, reading, and writing skills
- Recreational Activities – like bowling, music, dancing, art, craft, and picnics
- Community Access – visits to libraries, music programs, community events, shopping, museums, art galleries, and volunteer groups
Participants enjoy a balance of centre-based and community activities, with opportunities to contribute to weekly program planning. Each program supports practical learning, encourages personal growth, and helps participants explore their own unique interests.
